The protests were described by some journalists as a revolution against the Islamic Republic, and have been highlighted as a movement led by young women. Is this true? Is there a revolution? I did not listen to the audio, but what I found curious about the death of Amimi was how her death was universally reported; “While in police custody”.
An Early video showed her fainting while in some kind of class or hearing. “While in police custody” implies that she was abused in some fashion or worse, for example that she may have been tortured. Puzzling.
