  1. They are finally starting to catch on, but they missed the other reason for failing to negotiate, which is to depopulate Ukraine of natives who’d be much harder to control. Settler Colonialism strikes again, but this time they go back to the old USA model of chatel slave labour and bonded slave labour from Africa, South America, and S.E. Asia/India to work the farms, mines, and forests. Blackstone has a long history of this sort of investment, and their old parent company BlackRock decided to take a few pages out of their child’s playbook.
