  1. “For me fascism really means…”

With all respect, what does it matter what the interview subject thinks fascism means?

Mussolini, the founder of fascism, said that fascism was the merge of government and the corporations. This has existed in the United States, and to a large extent in Europe, since WW2.

We live in a fascist society.

  2. Prof. Laurelle characterizes Russian concerns with the rise of Ukraine’s far right as – in my own words – as a left-over Soviet trope/ a Putin fabrication…..thus ignoring the US responsibility for overthrowing the democratically elected Ukraine Government in 2014….The entire presentation reflects an inability to see the argument from the Russian perspective….and more, to use the words of Scott Ritter ‘Putin whispering’.
