This is a speech that is absolutely essential to understand what the world is undergoing. What Putin has detailed is a full-on paradigm shift. The world order that lasted for 30 years from 1991-2021 is over. What comes next is yet to be “born,” but it will be fundamentally different. While the simple minded mass media focuses on the ins and outs of the battle on the ground in Ukraine, Putin has made it clear tectonic shifts are happening in the global economy, trade relations, and global alliances. When you look at which countries support the sanctions against Russia, it is just the US, the EU (mostly), Australia, South Korea and Japan. In terms of population size, this is a minority of humanity. The implications are mind boggling.
