According to Fred Weir of The Christian Science Monitor, in the previous article, these Kharkiv residents can stay in Russia during the conflict. Many have already left for there after being guaranteed a Russian passport. They are given a warm welcome and a lot of help. Some may opt to stay in Russia. And others will return home after the war when the conditions are right.
