I’ve seen Iversen interview Koffler before on her show and I wasn’t sure what to make of her. I’ve concluded that she’s a mixed bag – some things she says are accurate and/or interesting and other things are not, such as her characterization of the Russian-Chinese partnership. Let me know what you think of her in the comments. – Natylie

Did you mean for the video to start at around the 44 minute mark, to save us from having to listen to the whole thing? If so, thank you.
I’m always leery of anyone who talks about Putin, but spends most of the time going on about what Putin “thinks”, which is unknowable, vs. what Putin said or signed his name to. She is doing too much of The Men Who Stare At Goats, and it’s almost comic.
As to her bump that she got invited to speak to “leaders” in China about Putin, China is not a monolithic entity. It’s surprising how much power is delegated down to lower level cadres. I can fully believe some university professor both trying to get some news coverage of his program and had a budget he needed to use up would have invited her to come speak. However I’d be deeply surprised if she directly addressed the CPC cadre training center, much less senior leaders. China already has extensive services doing much better work ups of not just foreign leaders but corporate power managers. A lone cowboy isn’t going to be allowed to contaminate or possible glom onto any of that work.
